3ZC PLAN GOOD TUESDAY PROGRAMME.

A specially attractive programme will be put on the air to-morrow evening by 3ZC. In addition to the usual children’s session. “ Brother Bill ” will give a further talk on the “ Great White South,” the story of Captain Scott’s ill-fated journey to the South Pole, and a concert party from the Waimairi School will present solos and part songs. At the evening concert session Miss Millicent Jennings’s choir will present for the first time in New Zealand the first act of Rutland Boughton’s “ Bethlehem,” a very fine choral work dealing with the Nativitv. Those taking part are Misses Joan Grainger, Freda Jennings, Lila Iliron, Brenda Bannehr. Lylie Vickerv, Phyllis Hindle, Mrs Elsie Clinton, Messrs Frederick Brown, Harry Francis, W. Worall, L. Coton, F. Dobson and Miss Betty Sutton. Other musical works appropriate to the Christmas festival will also be presented. During the evening the Rev Canon Wilford will give a brief talk on “ The Pilgrims and Their Educational Aims.” The session will be extended till 11.30 to-morrow evening, a special dance programme having been arranged.
