A CHRISTMAS PARTY.

Mrs Norton Francis, Rossall Street, Merivale, was the hostess at a most delightful children’s party, given at her home on Saturday afternoon in honour of her youngest daughter Marjorie. Misses Phyllis and Jocelyn Francis assisted Mrs Norton Francis with the entertaining of the many little guests, the beautitul lawns with the background of trees making a pleasant playing ground. All kinds of games were played and after tea had been served the children crowded round a heavily laden Christmas tree, from which each received a gift. Amongst the children present were Joan and Margaret Anderson, Diana Lawrence; Juliet Ileygate, Peggy Acton-Adams, Mary Collins, Alison Clark, Susan Dean, Judith and Barbara Firth. Mary Fulton, Dorothy Kidson, Mary Keddell, Sylvia Scott, Lucy Wynn-Williams, Margot Wallwork, Joy Hamilton, Jean Wood. Edna Wilson, Barbara Lawrence, June Foster, Philippa Kidson, Pamela Watherston, Prue Wanklyn, Sem Crosse, Elspeth Campbell, Diana Montgomery, Sheila Wilding, Thomas Averill, Belinda Williams, John Wanklyn, Juliet Deans, June Deans, Humphrey Gould, Robin Gould, Christopher Crosse, Sandy Anderson, Jock Montgomery, Tony Lawrence, Billy ActonAdams, Robert Ivingscote, Jan Kidson, David Gould, Peter Keddell, John Crosse, Robin Campbell, Stuart Deans, Roland Stead, Patrick Wanklyn, Richard Deans, and John Fulton.
