MEDBURY SCHOOL.

Ideal weather favoured the young students of the Medburv School, Fendalton, on Saturday when a garden party in aid of the improvements to the sports grounds was held in conjunction with the annual break-up and prize-giving. In the lovely old garden, stalls, gaily decorated and laden with tempting articles of all descriptions, were erected, the stallholders being kept busy with their many customers. The stalls and stall-holders were: Arts. Mrs Selbie; afternoon tea, Mesdames J. W. K. Lawrence, F. L. Scott, Maurice Gresson, A. Killian and Arthur Stewart ; variety, Miss Shona Dampier Crossley; sweets, Mesdames Gerard and Somerville; produce, Mesdames Buchanan and A. Deans; ice cream, Messrs E. J. Chennells , and Trewin; sale and exhibition of boys’ work, Mrs E. J. Chennells and Miss Barak. The organiser of the concert was Mr Maxwell. Later in the afternoon the annual prize-giving took place, the prizes being presented by Mrs E. J. Chennells. The following is the prize list; Form I—N. 11. Buchanan (English), N. H.
