HEARD GROANING UNDER BRIDGE: TOLD POLICE.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 17. A “ Herald ” employee was crossing the Grafton Bridge over the Symonds cemetery -at 2.45 this morning when he heard groaning underneath. He informed the police, who found in the gully a married man. named Victor Charles, with a compound fracture of the right leg. Charles is a married man residing in Grey Lynn.
