(Special to the “Star”) AUCKLAND, December 17. Mr W. E. Bush, city engineer, returned from Sydney to-day by the Niagara. He saw the first test at Brisbane. He says that Australia is well up against it, and thinks that the Englishmen will win all through, as, apart from being a very strong batting side, their bowling is superior to that of the Australians.
