NEW POISON GAS WILL KILL WHOLE ARMIES IN NEXT WAR.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received December 17, 11.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 15. Doctor Hilton Jones, of Chicago, an internationally-known' chemist, has announced that there is a pew poison gas, cacodyliso cyanide. It is so deadly that it will destroy armies in the next war as easily as a man snuffs a candle. Alongside this deadly discovery is another new metal called Berryllium. It has twice the tensile strength of steel, and is only half the weight of aluminium. A 400 horse-power aeroplane engine built of this metal was so light that a man could carry it under his arm.— United Service.
