the only, player not eliminated. Ilopman beat the English champion Austin 6-0, 2-6, 6-4, while Collins and Iliggs were defeated by Schelesinger an Crawford respectively.
Gregory beat Willard in straight sets. The Englishmen lost all their doubles matches. —Australian Press Association.
