GRIPPING PICTURE NOW SHOWING AT CRYSTAL PALACE.

“ The Gateway of the Moon,” starred at Crystal Palace, grips the imagination and holds the attention with a strange fascination. In the vast jungles of South America, with their mysterious plants and entanglements, it has a setting of fantastic beauty. This is as it should be; but the fascination of the picture comes not so much from that source as from the way in which it represents primitive passions in full play, operating for good and evil, and creating an atmosphere of adventure and romance. Miss Dolores del Rio has the principal part. “ The Sky-Skidder ’’ is dramatic. but the drama is of the lighter sort. Captain Al. Wilson, the airman, takes the leading part, and does most of his part in the form of “ stunts ” in the air. This picture is a roi-ance above the clouds. The Symphony Orchestra, under Mr A. J. Bunz, has a special programme.
