“JEWELS OF DESIRE” SHOWING THIS WEEK AT QUEEN’S THEATRE.
“ Jewels of Desire," a story’ which deals with a hunt for buried treasure on an island in the Pacific, is the principal attraction on the programme at the Queen’s Theatre this week. Miss Priscilla Dean has the leading role, and the many thrilling scenes in the picture afford hey an excellent opportunity* of displaying her artistry. John Bowers has the featured lead opposite Miss Dean, an.d the supporting cast includes Walter Long, the screen’s champion bad man. Luke Cosgrave, Syd Crossley, Ernie Adams and Raymond Wells are included in the supporting cast. Billy Sullivan, who will be remembered for his excellent work in the “ Leather Pushers,” is starred in “ One Punch O’Day,” a bright comedy-drama, which is the second attraction on the bill of fare. The supporting items include three comedies, two news-reels and a scenic.
