(Special to the “Star.”) ATHENS, October 3. The epidemic of dengue fever, from which thousands are suffering in Athens and the Piraeus neighbourhood, continues to spread. Several cases have now been reported. from the provinces and the hospitals are unable to cope with the situation. The Government lias decided to establish a Ministry of Health, under Dr Doxiades, to deal with the epidemic, and to; invite ■ the co-operation of French specialists. In fulfillment of its international obligation to notify . such a matter, Greece has informed the League of Nations of the outbreak of dengue fever, and has asked for special medicines to be sent by the Commission for Hygiene.
