FIFTEEN INJURED IN EXPLOSION WHICH BLEW WINDOWS OUT INTO THE STREET. (United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received December 3, 8.45 a.m.) MELBOURNE, December 3. PRIOR to the explosion in the Greek Club, Melbourne, on Saturdav night, two men Were seen carrying a suit-case. They entered the building and ascended to the floor above the club. A few minutes later they left hurriedly, and the explosion followed. Windows were blown out and crashed into the street. A third man in the street joined the two mentioned and the trio ran up Swanston Street and disappeared from view in the crowd. Altogether, fifteen were injured. The descriptions given the police led to the arrest of five men suspected of being connected with this or previous outrages. A rumour that a certain shipping magnate’s home was to be bombed led to a police search of a suspect’s house and his subsequent arrest. He was detained temporarily on Friday with three others, who were suspected in connection with another bombing at the house of William H. Swanton on November 20.—Australian Press Association. ___

Four were injured and were treated at the Melbourne Hospital, and the eighteen others had narrow escapes. As on previous occasions two men were seen escaping in a high-powered motor-car. Bomb of sealed piping type. No arrests. NOV. 20.—Bomb exploded in an empty room in home, of William H. Swanton, shipping magnate.; No one injured. No arrests made. In all the outrages similar types of bombs were used, consisting of a piece, of piping stuffed with explosives and broken metal, and sealed at both ends. Near the scene of each of the previous explosions three men were seen. Always thev drove off in a fast sedan car. The indications were that the same gang was operating in each case. -•
