FORESTRY STUDENTS BUSY AT WORK.

Students of the School of Forestry at Canterbury College are doing field work in different parts of the South Island, with the State Forest Service. Three are in Nelson, under the Conservator of Forests there, engaged in a forest reconnaissance, and one is in N the Southland conservation district, engaged on a bush survey. Arrangements are in hand for others to carry on work at Ilanmcr Springs. Mr C. E. Foweraker and Mr F. E. Hutchison are doing forest research work with the State Forest Service in Westland in connection with rimu forests. They will leave soon for f.hc. State Forest Service’s experimental station at Rimu, seven miles from Hokitika.
