WAIRARAPA FORMS PROGRESS LEAGUE.

Per Press Association. MASTERTON, November 28 At a meeting yesterday afternoon of representatives of local bodies from Pahiatua to Martinborough and others interested, the following resolution was carried:—“That this conference of dele gates representing various local bodies and pubhc associations in Wairarapa wholeheartedly endorses the proposal to establish a Progress League for the district, having for its object the cooperation of town and country for the promotion and assistance of any movement for the general advancement of Wairarapa.”
