BOARD AUTHORISES LOCAL LOANS FOR CHRISTCHURCH.
(Special to the “Star") WELLINGTON, November 15. Authority has been given by the Local Government Loans Board for raising the following loans by the Heathcote County Council:—Cashmere waterworks £BOOO, Cashmere electricity £SOOO, and Avon-Bromley electric light £BSOO. The Christchurch City Council is authorised to raise £3500 as an additional loan for the Concert Hall. Akaroa County is authorised to raise £9OO for a worker’s dwelling loan.
