ATHLETICS.
OLD BOYS CLUB. The annual meeting of the High School Old Boys Amateur Athletic Club was held last evening, Mr L. Smith presiding over u numerous attendance. The annual report showed that after the club had held a prominent place In athletics in Canterbury it had fallen off somewhat during the past year, when its activities had not been so successful. There were several new members and the prospects for the coming season were bright. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £3 5s Id. There was a balance of liabilities over assets of £1 14s 3d. The report and balanco-sheet were adopted. Mr T. Milliken outlined the club's objects and said that the club should have a successful season. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted:—President, Mr T. Milliken; vice-presidents, Drs AV. S. sseed, tiuy Hasliins, Messrs A. 11. Josephs, W. 11. Lascelles, A. D. Tench* S. Hollander. \V. M. Stewart, 11. L. Hicks, J. 11. Parker, A. Dey, IJ. M. Taylor and M. Cooper; club captain. Mr L. Smith: delegates to the Canterbury | Centre, Messrs A. H. Candy and 11. O. F. lving; honorary secretary and surer, Mr A- 11. Candy; committee, Messrs S. Baird, J. F». Bluett. J. R. Crawshaw, J. K. Martin, K. Mortlock. L. Mortlock aud R. H. Carmichael; school representative, Mr E. H. Gregg; honorary auditor, Mr F. K. Smith; honorary coach, Mr A. Parker. Arrangements for club training were made. • :• . It was decided to support the centre s suggestion for the holding of regular Inter-club relay competitions.
