CREATOR OF BUSTER BROWN IS DEAD.

NEW YORK, September 26. Richard Autcault, creator of Buster Brown, the Yellow Kid, and other early newspaper comics, is dead. Outcault started as a comic artist in 1895, and created Hogan’s Alley for the “New York World,” The Yellow Kid for the “New York Journal,” and Buster Brown for the "New York Herald” in 1902. When he died he‘was president of the Outcault Advertising Co. k Chicago.
