was played at Chicago. Scores (Ryan was five up when the match was abandoned)—Ryan, seven winsf Anderson, two; draws seventeen. H- P. Holloway lias won the Birmingham championship. In the final he defeated F. F. Smith by two wins to none and three draws. A game won by Smith against Pickering in the tournament is given, above.
