KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR AND KILLED.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 2. Alfred McFarlane, aged twenty-two, a resident of Mount Eden, died in hospital as the result of injuries caused by being knocked down by a motor-car last evening.
