CHILD’S DEATH DUE TO HEART FAILURE

The adjourned inquest into the death of Patrick Sheridan, an infant aged about eighteen hours, who died at 76, North Parade, Richmond, on September 19, 1928, was held this morning before Mr H. A. Young, Coroner. Dr A. B. Pearson said that he had made a post-mortem examination. The child was apparently healthy, but the thymus gland was enlarged. In his opinion, death was due to heart failure resulting from pressure on the heart nerves by an enlarged thymus gland.
