WAIRARAPA AFTER CRICKET HONOURS.
(Special to the "Star.”) MASTER!ON, September 29. Present indications point to Wairarapa being able to place a strong cricket team in the field this season and make a bold bid for the Hawke Cup. Among those wfio will play for Wairarapa this season will be D. C. Collins, the ex-Cambridge and New Zealand representative, and the Rev E.
O. Blamires (Otago and New Zealand) who is now in charge of the Mastertor Methodist circuit, in addition to Di Uttley, a former Otago representative footballer and cricketer. Bunny, the Wanganui colt who did so well ir representative cricket last season, anr D. Riddiford, another wcjl-knowr cricketer, who is now resident in Wai rarapa. Sportsmen are looking for ward to Wairarapa holding the Ran lurly Shield and the Hawke trophy.
