The Returned Soldiers’ Miniature Rifle Club held a ladies’ night on Saturday evening, on the Association range. A handicap competition was held for ladies—seven shots. The winner turned up in Mrs H. Gracie, 60-10-70; Mrs M’Coll second, 56-10-66; Mrs J. Bassett and Mrs Forgie (equal) third, 54-10-64; Mrs Gagliardi and Mrs Baker (equal) fourth. The men held an “own start” shoot of 10 shots, which was won by Mr H. Fleck, 99. Six others tied with 9S. Supper was supplied by the ladies on the range. The ladies' prize was presented by the club captain, Mr H. Fleck. The evening was brought to a close by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
