At the Memorial Hall, Papanui. last night the lion Crawford Vaughan gave an address cm temperance. Mr S. R Webb presided over a good attendance. The Mayor (Cap tain A. W. Owles) and Councillor C. D. Muirson were appointed at last night’s meeting of the Borough Council to attend the conference.
