While doctors in England are std! trying to trace the source of the mysterious epidemic of paratyphoid which attacked police and military in varipus parts of England last month, extensive outbreaks of a febrile nature are also reported from Greece and Belgium. Many thousands are stated to be ill in Greece, and the sufferers in Belgium are believed to have been iuxecceu by food poisoning similar to the stricken London policemen. Some people blame the new laws prohibiting the extensive use of preservatives in food.—Australian Press Association.
