BRIGHT PROGRAMME DRAWS BIG CROWDS TO EVERYBODY’S.
“Love Me and the World is Mine” is a story of Vienna in pre-war days. It is one in which the eternal triangle, which forms many a good drama for the screen, is handled cleverly and in an unusual manner that is entirely refreshing. Much of the success of the film is due to the splendid acting of Mary Philbin and Norman Kerry in the principal roles. The second attraction is a humorous picture entitled “ That Certain Thing,” in which the popular actress, Viola Dana, has the leading part. The third feature is the first of a series of films entitled “ The Collegians.” If the picture now being screened is a good criterion of the rest of the series they will be well worth following. The orchestra, under the baton of Mr Albert Bidgood, contributes an enjoyable musical programme.
