COMMITTED SUICIDE WHEN DEPRESSED.
Per Press Association. BLENHEIM, August 17. Douis Gordon Sowman, aged twentyone, j-esiding with his parents in Arthur Street, Blenheim, rose at six o’clock this morning committed suicide by shooting himself with a shotgun in a bedroom. The room was also occupied by a young brother. Deceased had been in ill-health for some months. He was a victim of the prevailing influenza epidemic, and was suffering from depression.
