Sir John Gilmour, replying to the Rev Stephen Campbell, said that he could not make a statement regarding compensation to Oscar Slater. He thought that it was better that he first have a reasonable chance of making a claim. Major L. Hore-Belisha: Would it not be more generous for the Government to make a grant without waiting?
