DROVER APPEARS IN SHEEP STEALING CASE.

Per Press Association. WAIPUKURAU. July 24. On charges of stealing thirty sheep, valued at £4B, the property of James William Monutt, farmer, of Waipukurau, and 100 sheep, valued at £IBO. from Harry S. Hooper, owner of Arlington Station, George Perry, of Waipukurau, drover, came before Justices of the Peace this morning and was remanded till July 31. Bail was fixed at £4OO self, and a similar amount in one or two sureties.
