A telegram from Boston reports that Mr Campbell, an Australian airman, is planning a tran.s-Atlantic flight in A 715 ft dirigible now under secret construction at Highbury, England. He arrived by the Cedric, and hopes to find here “a wealthy American woman" willing to accompany him on the flight. He stated that he came to the United States secretly in an attempt to speed tip the arrangements, in order to steal a march on the Zeppelin Corporation, Which is contemplating a trans-Atlantic flight wjthin three weeks. Mr Campbell confirmed a rumour that th« dirigible, after the - New York flight, will return to England, whence ft will undertake a twelve-dav flight to Australia, sponsored by an Australian syndicate which is interested in the commercialisation of a route for dirigibles exclusively, Mr Campbell is returning to England on July 26, and hopes to establish a connection with United States firms for the distribution of pictures taken in conjunction with the flights.—Australian Press Association.
