FIRE OCCURS IN ST ALBANS SHOP.

At 1.5 this morning the Fire Brigade was called out to a fire in a grocer’s shop Situated at 567, Barbadoes Street, St Albans, owned by Mr W. E. Wright and occupied by Mr D. P. George. The fire originated in the rear of the building and considerable damage was done by heat and smoke. The building was inured for £350 in the South British office, and the plant and fittings for £9SS in the same office.
