GUN CLUB.

The North Canterbury Gun Club today shot off a twelve-bird clay pigeon match for trophies valued at £2 2s and £1 Is, donated by the president and Mr A. Prestney, also a sweepstake. Eight competed. J. Skilling (13yds), A. B. Kerr (15yds) and A. Taylor (12yds* scored the possible, and divided the sweep money. In the shoot-off for the trophies, J. Skilling won the first trophy and A. B. Kerr the second. A special trophy, valued at £1 Is, donated by Mr J. Fitzgibbon, for the best performance inside the 14yds mark wa> won by J, Skilling.
