THIS WEEK'S BEST LETTER.
Dear Aunt Hilda,—l cannot claim "neiceship” with you as I am an old grandmother of 70 3-ears, but f saw your appeal to your numerous familyand I thought I might be able to make a small contribution for those poor little babies, as all mine are in good circumstances and need nothing. I get the Saturday’s and Thursday's “Star” sent me every week. Thursday’s for the sake of >-our page and then it is posted up to f’entral Otago to my grandchildren who live on a run practically in the back blocks. There are eight of them, and I can assure you they are delighted with the “Comic.” They have had them from the first issue. I should like the two vests to go to 011 c baby so that it can have a change, the same warmth. Your page must have a good influence on the 3'oung people and I trust it will prosper.—Yours with very kind regards, “Grandmother.”
