In this issue the Railway Department advertises excursion fares and special train arrangements for the Ashburton Races on Saturday, June 30. A fast special train leaves Christchurch at 9.41 a.m. The services in the Salvation Army Citadel, Victoria Square, to-morrow will be conducted by Ensign and Mrs Montgomery. During the service Bandmaster Sutton, who has been citadel bandmaster for some time, and who is under transfer to Timaru, will say farewell to the Christchurch congregation. The.
