The takings at the Municipal Tepid Baths for the month of April were £129 6s sd, which is a decrease of £ls as compared with the corresponding month of last year. At last night’s meeting of the City Council, notice of motion was given by Councillor Clyde Carr, as follows “That a special committee be set up to prepare a scheme of traffic control for Cathedral Square and reporjt to the By-laws Committee, the committee to consist of Councillors Beaven, Mannings, Andrews, Roberts, and the mover, in consultation with the Chief Traffic inspector and the City Engineer.”
