Ashburton-Springfield-Culverden and intermediate stations, including Branches 24th May to 28tli May 24th May to 28th May 231 h May to 28th May 25th May to 28th May 25th May 26th May to 28th May 29th May by trains arriving Christchupch up to 11.0 a.m. only. TRAIN AND ROAD MOTOR ARRANGEMENTS. MONDAY, 28 th MAY. LYTTELTON LINE. —Special Passenger Train will leave Christchurch for Lyttelton at 11.30 p.m., returning leaving Lyttelton for Christchurch 11.55 p.m. It will stop where required. NORTH LlNE.—Usual 4.25 p.m. train for Gulvcrden will leave Christchurch at 5.20 p.m., Papanui 5.41, and arrive Culverden 8.37 p.m. Special Passenger Train for Rangiora will leave Christchurch at 10.45 p.m., Papanui 11.4, and arrive Rangiora 11.45 p.m. It will stop where required for passenger traflic. EYRETON BRANCH.—UsuaI 5.18 p.m. train for Bennetts will leave Ivaiapoi at 6.15 p.m. (connecting with 5.20 p.m. train from Christchurch) and arrive Bennetts 7.43 p.m. OXFORD BRANCH.—UsuaI 5.43 p.m. train for Oxford West will leave Rangiora at 6.37 p.m. (connecting with 5.20 p.m. train from Christchurch), and arrive Oxford West 8.2 p.m. SOUTH LINE. —Special Passenger Train for Christchurch will leave Timaru 7.20 a.m., Tinwald 9.1, Ashburton 9.15 and arrive Christchurch 10.50 a.m. It will stop at Temuka, Orari, Hinds, Tinwald and Ashburton, and if required at Washdyke, Winchester, Rangitata, Ealing and Winslow, to pick up passengers for Christchurch. Returning it will leave Christchurch at 10.0 p.m., arriving Ashburton 11.28 p.m., and Timaru 1.21 a.m. (29tli). It will take passengers from Christchurch and Addington for Ashburton, Tinwald, Winslow, Hinds, Ealing, Rangitata, Orari, Winchester, Temuka, Washdyke and Timaru only. Usual 4.57 p.m. train for Ashburton will leave Christchurch 5.45 p.m. and arrive Ashburton 7.47 p.m. SOUTHBRIDGE BRANCH.—UsuaI 4.50 p.m. train for Southbridge will leave Christchurch 5.35 p.m. and arrive Southbridgc 7.17 p.m. LITTLE RIVER BRANCH.—UsuaI 4.0 p.m. electric car for Little River will leave Christchurch 5.25 p.m., and arrive Little River 6.34 p.m. Usual 5.20 p.m. electric car for Christchurch w'Ql leave Little River 6.40 p.m., and arrive Christchurch 7.47 p.m. Connection will be made at Little River with Pilkington’s service cars to and from Akaroa. SPRINGFIELD LlNE.—Usual 4.30 p.m. train for Springfield will leave Christchurch 5.30 p.m., and arrive Springfield 7.55 p.m. METIIVEN BRANCH.—UsuaI 6.30 p.m. train for Methven will leave Rakaia 7.20 p.m. (after connecting with the 5.45 p.m. train from Christchurch), and arrive Methven 8.32 p.m. RAILWAY ROAD MOTORS.—The 4.15 p.m. bus services for White Cliffs, Coalgate and Kowai Bush will leave Christchurch at 5.15 p.m. and run 1 hour later than usual.
