DR THACKER MAY BE A CANDIDATE FOR CHRISTCHURCH NORTH. Dr Thacker, who was the official Nationalist candidate for < 'hristchurch North at the last general election, may contest the seat again at the coining election. He stated last night that a number of people had already approached him regarding the matter, but he had not yet decided what action ihe would take. If. however, it was the desire of a considerable body of the electors that he should enter the contest he would give the matter his serious consideration.
