PIONEER SPORTS CLUB.
A well-attended meeting of the various sporting sections of the Pioneer Sports Club was held last evening, Mr C. Bonnington presiding. Correspondence between the club and the Jubilee Celebrations Committee was read in which it was made manifest the various sections of the club were putting abundant energy into their efforts to make the club’s section thoroughly representative and most attractive. The chairman reported that the efforts of the sub-committee were being well supported by all sections, and the result should prove a creditable display of both the ancients and the moderns.
