(Special to the “Star.") AUCKLAND. May 22 The Minister of Health (the ITnn J. A. Young) was questioned abot: his attitude toward the proposal to erect a solarium on top of the hospital ward at present under construction at Napier Mr Young declined to comment on the decision of Dr Valintine to veto the Napier Hospital Board’s acceptance of a gift of £3OOO for this purpose. “I have nothing to say, beyond the fact that I have given my assurance to the Hospital Board that 1 shall send the Director-General of Health to Napier at an early date with the object of discussing the matter on the spot with the board and the medical super: te.dent,” the Minister concluded.
