ENTHUSIAST CLAIMS WONDERFUL RECEPTION OF DISTANT STATIONS.

Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, May 21. An Auckland message stating that Station PCJJ, Holland, had been clearly received there, prompted an Invercargill radio enthusiast, who possesses a two-valve set, to relate that he has heard PCJJ.on 31 metres since last Wednesday, reception being splendid. He states that every morning before breakfast he hears SSW, Chelmsford, on 24 metres. Big Bep’s strike is clearly heard, also items relayed from Daly's Theatre and the Savoy, London, while a lecture recently delivered by a Harley Street specialist came through word-perfect. He added that he has also been in touch with RFM, Siberia, and a Japanese station.
