NEW OPERA HOUSE WILL HAVE BRIGHT PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT.
The fresh programme at the New Opera House to-night should suit all tastes and please all patrons. It wall be characterised by variety, originality, and brightness. This is made possible by dividing it into two sections, one representing the best there is in modern vaudeville, the other representing the popular revue element. Gayle Wyer’s Band-box Revue Company has a large number of sparkling items, covering a wide field of genuine humour. The members of the compan}' are talented artists, who have a keen appreciation of what the public like. Another feature of the entertainment will be a breezy, snappy musical comedy entitled “Mixed Doubles." During recent years musical comedy has come into the front rank in popular entertainment, and at the New Opera House it is in its brightest and best form.
