FIRE IN RANGIORA SALEYARDS CAUSES BUT SLIGHT DAMAGE.

At about 10.30 last night the Rangiora Fire Brigade was called out for a fire in the poultry pens at the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Association s produce auction yards. When the brigade arrived the fire had a good hold of a shed to which the pens were attached, but the outbreak was mastered a few minutes after the brigade got to work. The contents of the shed were principally bales of hay and straw, which were damaged by fire and water. The value of the damage was not very great.
