LEAGUE FOOTBALL. WELSH LEAGUE PLAYERS MAY SETTLE IN N.Z. The possibility of two English Rugby League internationals settling in Auckland was made known at the weekly meeting of the Auckland Rugby League last evening, when a letter was received from Mr Leake, chairman of the English Rugby League Commission for Wales. Cfe>e of the players is A. Green, Welsh Rugby Union International in 1926-7 and Glamorgan representative. He is twenty-five, and a front-row forward, weighing 13st 71b. The other player is B. Coleman, ■who, prior to playing Rugby League, represented Cardiff under the Rugby Union rules. He is also a forward, aged twenty-five, weighing 13st 71b. The letter states that these players are keen to settle in the Dominion, and particulars as to employment and other matters are sought. MJLXXST CLUB.
