Thomas of a witness at the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon. “ No,” replied the witness; “we ring for a doctor and inform the traffic office. IBs Honor- “You don’t infer that collect ing evidence is more important than attending to injuries.” Hr Thomas: “No But I suggest that while one tramwaymaa is informing headquarters of an accident and is calling a doctor, the other, say the conductor, is preparing for an action.” (Laughter.)
