COCAINE CARRIER FINED £250 IN SYDNEY.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received May 17, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 17. Bernice Bevan, 33, was fined £250 for having cocaine in his possession. The woman prosecutrix stated that she was stopped by Bevan, who asked her to sniff something. Immediately she became irresponsible. She was taken to a house at Redfern, robbed and then turned out.—Australian Press Association.
