WIFE IS REFUSED SEPARATION ORDER. LONDON. April 18. The perfect husband appeared in a Court at Sittingbourne, Kent, in answer to his wife’s application for a separation order. He is an artilleryman, named Harold Philpott. Defendant told the Bench that he rose in the morning, made the tea, prepared the breakfast, washed uj>, and cooked the dinner oil Sundays. “ I let my wife go to Sheerness every afternoon, and return at 10 pm. I have the kettle boiling to make tea when sht> comes home. When I draw my pay on Fridays, I buy the groceries, and ther? empty my pockets and give my wife every penny,” he said. The Bench refused the application.
