HOCKLEY ESTABLISHES TWENTY-MILE RECORD. There wa? a good attendance at the Pioneer Club’s beach championship today. The record for twenty miles was broken by G. Hockley on a 7-9 Harley Davidson. Results:— Twelve Miles (380 c.c.) —G. Hockley (2| Harley Davidson) 1; E. Burmeister (24 Harley* Davidson) 2. The only riders to finish. Times—llmin 25sec, 12min 54aec. # Sixteen Miles (500 c.c.)—L. Johnson (Norton) 1: E. Burmeister (21 Harley Davidson) 2. G. Hockley (New Hudson) 3. Times—l4min 4S 3-ssec, 14min 54 4-ssec. 14min 65 4-ss*o. TJie winner averaged 77 miles per' hour.
