BURGLARY AT BRIGHTON HOTEL.

INTRUDERS BREAK IN THROUGH WINDOW

Gaining entrance through a window, after two unsuccessful attempts to break through a door, burglars last night got away with a quantity of bottled stout from the New Brighton Hotel. The window. which faced Beresford Street, was broken in by the intruders. It led to the storeroom containing the bottled liquor. Prior to getting in through the window the intruders used a hacksaw on the padlock of the door leading to the spirits store but their efforts proved fruitless. A brace and bit was then tried and the burglars were apparently disturbed as they didn't finish the boring work. The hacksaw was found this morning lying clqsc to the storeroom.
