HIGHWAYS CONFERENCE ON TUESDAY.
LEAGUE COMMITTEE IS TO CONFER WITH MEMBERS OF BOARD.
The long awaited conference between the members of the Main Highways Board and the Highways Committee of the Canterbury Progress League set up by the County Councils of Canterbury, will take place in fhe Chamber of Commerce Hall next Tuesday afternoon. The League Committee has completed a very complete and comprehensive report setting out definite recommendations concerning road construction and maintenance in Canterbury The report has taken several months to prepare and a great deal of interest attaches to it.
