EXCURSION TRAIN TO CARRY WIRELESS RECEIVING SETS.

LYTTELTON-WEST COAST FIXTURE IS POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT SATURDAY.

Wireless receiving sets will be installed on a train for the first time in New' Zealand next Saturday, when the Lyttelton-West Coast excursion, postponed from to-day. will be held. Loud speakers will be provided for each carriage.

The Christchurch station 3ZC, which has supplied the installation, will be on the air from eight o’clock in the morning. During the day it is hoped that the sets will be able to pick up the broadcast from Forbury Park, and in the evening the Australian stations.
