There are. at. present 201 nurses on the staff of the Christchurch Hospital. Twenty of these are Sisters. 18 staff nurses and 163 nurses in training. During the year 33 nurses passed their hospital and State examinations, and 28, who took a cooking class, passed their examination in this section. Eighty candidates have beeij accepted as suitable . for training, and their names placed on the waiting list.
