NO DEFENCE LODGED IN DIVORCE ACTION.

Divorce on the grounds of adultery was granted in the Supreme Court today by Mr Justice Adams to Dora Ethel Queree, against her husband, Ernest George Queree, civil servant, of Christchurch. The action was not defended. Mr A. A. Brown appeared for the petitioner.

Dora Ethel Queree said she was married to respondent on March 20, 1921, at Christchurch. Prior to Julv, 1927, she was living with her husband. In that month she went to Auckland for five weeks, and when she returned her husband's attitude was one of indifference. Later her husband admitted misconduct.

A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute after three months.
